This year has been slightly different from the norm. In the month of June alone, we have received over 10 inches of rain! While those of us with pastured animals are hesitant to ever question the good Lord and His provisions (need rain to keep the grass growing!), all this rain is making harvesting/gardening quite a challenge.
We have potatoes in the ground that need to be dug, second crop tomatoes waiting to go in and weeds the size of small trees! It can feel slightly overwhelming at times.
But such is the story of one whose life is so closely tied to the natural world. We must persevere and press forward as best we can.
Please be patient with us as many of our crops are slower coming in this year. We are not alone in this area. Many of our fellow market vendors are experiencing the same issues.
Despite these challenges, you can still rest assured that the produce and meats that you purchase from us will be of the highest quality possible and that they were raised with the utmost of attention and care.
Thanks again for your continued support
